DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: TANA

Arriving at Ivato international airport, clear customs and meet Ortour representative for transfer to Anjary Hotel (midrange) or at Louvre (top) for overnight

Day 2: TANA - ANDASIBE
Departure by vehicle 4x4 Reserve Perinet. On the way, a stop is planned for the tour of the peryras reserve. Continuation Périnet (Andasibe)

Mantadia and Analamazaotra Special Reserve of Andasibe Mantadia form the complex. These two protected areas were identical but human pressures have unfortunately separated. Mantadia covers 15,480 ha. Birding on the road, standing on the bank of the River Mangoro: with any luck, we could see the Madagascar Pratincole, Eleonora's Falcon, Sooty Falcon
First dip in the forest: Madagascar Pond-heron, Toulou Coucal, Madagascar Hoopoe, Madagascar Wagtail, Madagascar White-eye and red Fody, among many others.

Day 3: ANDASIBE
Park forest Mantadia provides life for many animals by providing shelter. 108 species of birds are known in the park, some of whom play a role in the survival of plants like Terpsiphone mutata, Mesita one color, red-necked Nightjar, Grey-headed Bulbul, White-throated Oxylabes and eyebrows yellow, velvety Philepitta , Droméocerque brown and red Fody forest. The unusual Eurycère Prevost may be encountered here, there is even the rare Vanga Pollen that can be seen regularly.
On the way back, Rail Rail and the Cuvier Island. There are also 14 species of lemur, 51 species of reptiles including the famous Boa Boa manditra and 84 species of amphibians. Day 4: VISIT THE PARK OF ANALAMAZOATRA
It  is known for its rare orchids that bloom in the forest, Indri indri that can be observed all year, beautiful waterfalls and the famous cultural rituals of people in its vicinity, but there are also many species of birds such as:
Blue Coua, Madagascar fluff tail, wood rail, scaly ground roller, pitta like ground roller, short legged ground roller, a variety of Vanga (including special Hypositte Madagascar) and the Ashy cuckoo shrike. Overnight at the hotel Feon'ny Ala (midrange) or hotel Vakona (top)

Day 5: ANDASIBE - ANTSIRABE
After breakfast, departure in 4x4 vehicle destination Antsirabe. Stop en route to visit a boiler shop. Visit Lake volcanic Tritriva offering superb views over the city and its environs. Visit a lapidary stones before a city tour of Antsirabe. Overnight at Le Trianon (high midrange) / Arotel (top).

Day 6: ANTSIRABE, RANOMAFANA
Drive to Ranomafana through the small town of Ambositra known for its fine wood carvings. Ranomafana Park while forest covers 41,601 ha. It was classified as a World Natural Heritage of the Atsinanana in 2007. It contains a wealth of endemic biodiversity but endangered. Included are rare and critically endangered species of lemurs. The park is also the gene pool of some rare and endemic plant species. It is traversed by many rivers which are tributaries of the river Namorona.

Day 7-8: VISIT AT THE PARK
Two-day tour in the reserve with your guide in search of several species of birds and 115 species of birds including thirty of them are strictly forest species, 12 species of lemur, 90 species butterflies
98 species of amphibians - and 62 species of reptiles: Chameleons, lizards.

Day 9: RANOMAFANA - RANOHIRA
After breakfast, we take the road to Ranohira. Isalo is part of the Municipality of Ranohira in the region Ihorombe. It is 279 km south of Fianarantsoa and 80 km Ihosy. The park, crisscrossed by rivers and their tributaries, extends over 81,540 ha. This is a massive ruiniform sandstone plateau continental Jurassic. Strongly eroded, broken up only by the witnesses sandy valleys and canyons have remained: a spectacle truly exceptional.

Day 10-11: RANOHIRA - ZOMBITSE VOHIBASIA - IFATY

Ranohira - Tulear - Ifaty 267 km. Zombitse Vohibasia houses 47% of endemic birds of Madagascar and one endemic zone: the Bernieria Appert. It has eight species of lemurs; some are almost like the case of threatened Phanera furcifer pallescens.
Along the way, you can admire the tombs Mahafaly famous throughout the island and the magnificent Baobab trees. Before arriving in Tulear, we'll be stopping at the arboretum where over 1,000 species of plants endemic to southern Madagascar are represented. Installation in a hotel located along the lagoon. Day 12-13: IFATY
Depart early morning for the walk to look for birds in desert thorn identify endemic species found in the area including're pachypodiums and moringa. The attractions 'two stars' here are the Weevil Monias and Brachyptérolle long tail, both declining in number in their narrow habitat. We also seek the Vanga Lafresnaye Falculie and hooded, the Newton and Archbold Nésille Madagascar, Subsert mesite, sickle vanga which are abundant in the afternoon at leisure and overnight at the hotel beach Ifaty (medium) Nautilus (top)

Day 14: IFATY-ANAKAO
Morning transfer to Anakao, the finest beach and has beautiful coral reefs to locate fish in the ocean. Boat tours on the island of Nosy Ve see endemic red-tailed. Back to Anakao Breakfast near the beach is known for its diving center. Overnight at Hotel Prince d’Anakao (high midrange) or Vezo Longo (midrange)

Day 15: ANAKAO – SAINTE AUGUSTIN –TULÉAR

On board a speedboat to St. Augustine to search some species of birds. The village of St. Augustine is a beautiful bay built and inhabited by traditional fishermen Vezo . Humblot's Heron and  rufocarpalis  was seen  at the cliffs near St. Augustine, then continue to Tulear. Overnight at the hotel Paletuvier.

Day 16: TULEAR - TANA

Transfer to the airport and flight to Tana. Overnight at the hotel Anjary (midrange) Hotel Louvre (top)

Day 17-18-19: TANA-ANKARAFANTSIKA

We leave the morning Ankarafantsika Tana. Ankarafantsika is located in the western part of the island.
Ankarafantsika is 450 km from Antananarivo and 114 km from Mahajanga. Ankarafantsika is a haunt of birds and lemurs. A feature that makes conservation a leitmotif for this national park. 8 species of lemurs were observed Ankarafantsika: a diurnal species, two species mixed, 5 typically nocturnal species including the famous Microcebus, the smallest primate in the world. 129 species of birds nest in the forest Ankarafantsika. 75 of them are endemic such as: we aim to find Mesita varied Coua Coquerel Philepitta of Schegel and Vanga Van Dam.
