You will be enjoying 3 days of camping in hope to see the marvellous scenery of Manambolo river, deep red-orange in color from eroded sediment, descending through a largely deforestated landscape with magnificent colorful sandstone cliff and covering dry deciduous forest and canyons as well where lemurs such as the Decken’s sifaka and the red-fronted brown lemur may be seen coming down to drink at the river's edge and on trees along the ridgeline.

In the lower part of the canyon, the river loses its current and becomes a pool. Windy conditions, especially in the afternoon, can make paddling this stretch a bit of a workout. Three nights camping
