1st – 2nd day:

Leave Antananarivo to Andasibe
This 12,810 hectare park encompasses two distinct areas, National Park of Analamazaotra often referred to Périnet, the Indri  forest and the much larger the reserve Speciale of Mantadia. It needs a good shape visitor .
Both places are popular for tourists and the scientists, especially the National Park of Analamazaotra because of the Indri – indri, the larger species of lemurs.

3rd day:

Drive from Andasibe to Toamasina
It is the country’s largest port, a pleasant place with long wide avenue lined with flamboyants and palm trees.

4th day:

Fly from Toamasina to Maroantsetra
Maroantsetra is an attractive place with languid charm and good infrastructure.

Take the boat to Tampolo.
Visit Masoala peninsula.

6th day:

Visit the bay of Antongil and continue to Nosy Mangabe. Most travellers come to visit the reserve of Nosy Mangabe and Masoala peninsula, one of the best rain forest of the country and July to September you have a good chance to observe breeding and birthing humped back whales .

8th - 12th day:

Fly from Maroantsetra to Sambava.
Sambava is set between the sea and soaring Marojejy massif, the capital of vanilla, it is a relaxed place with marvellous beaches.
Sambava is also a good point to start a trip to Marojejy special reserve.
This area protects 200 types of plants, home to nine species of lemurs, including the aye – aye and the silky diademed sifaka subspecies which is endemic to the region. There are over 100 species of birds.
