Andasibe – Palmarium
This morning, we start our hike criss crossing the forest of Analamazoatra. This reserve ranks amongst the most visited area in Madagascar due to its wealth of exceptional biodiversity. On top of our agenda, this morning exploration will grant us a chance to see lots of animals and especially the Indri Indri, the biggest lemur, having a short tail, impersonating rather than emulating the physical look of the panda but it is astounding eerie calls reaching kilometers away set an alarm for visitor to easily recognize it. Besides, there are tons of animals can be observed in this reserve other than lemurs since birds, reptiles, amphibians and so many more make their home in this reserve. After the visit, we leave Andasibe departing to Palmarium, passing by Manambato where we will take a fast motor boat going to Ankanin’ny Nofy. This luxuriant vegetation, the Palmarium is more than a relaxing place since you can visit the small private reserve where lemurs are easy to find. The Palmarium is located on a peninsula of more than 30 hectares on the Ampitabe Lake. Overnight at Palmarium bungalow (high-midrange)
