DAY 1: TANA

A member of our team will welcome you at the airport. Then you will be led on your private transfer taking you to your hotel Louvre (Top) or Chalet des Roses (high- midrange) or Hotel Tripolitsa in BB.

DAY 2: TANA – ANDASIBE

Morning departure heading to Andasibe roughly 4 hours drive. Andasibe is also known in French as Perinet. Upon arrival, visit the Vakona reserve where four species of day lemurs including the black and white ruffed-lemur, the browns, ring-tails, the dancing sifakas and the modest eastern bamboo lemur, would be ready for photo-op. You’d be enjoying the unforgettable fun time spent at this so-called ‘lemurs island.

Overnight in: Top Hotel: at the Vakona Forest Lodge (Top) in BB or in Andasibe Hotel or in Mid-range: at the Hotel Feon’ny Ala or Grace Lodge in BB.

DAY 3: ANDASIBE – TANA

After breakfast, we will explore the Analamazoatra reserve in search of the biggest lemurs called Indri indri, the panda like lemurs, whose eerie calls can be heard miles away from your hotel. A mild walk in the forest would surely grant you a great deal of windows of opportunity to spot not only the indri but also other lemurs such as the golden sifakas, the eastern woolly lemurs, without forgetting endemic birds and reptiles like the Parson chameleon, the tiny nose-horned chameleons, and so forth. After the visit, leave Andasibe and drive to Antananarivo overnight at the hotel du Louvre (Top) or at the hotel Chalet des Roses (high-midrange), or at the Hotel Tripolitsa in BB..

DAY 4: TANA-ANKARAFANTSIKA

Early departure for the National Park Ankarafantsika (around 8 hours drive). Ankarafantsika is located in the western part of Madagascar towards in national road number 4. It lies 450 km from Antananarivo and 114 km from Mahajanga.Stop for lunch at Maevatanana before continuing to Ankarafantsika. Ankaranfantsika is a favorite place for birds and lemurs. 8 species of lemurs have been observed in Ankarafantsika: 1 diurnal species, 2 mixed species, and 5 species typically nocturnal, including the famous Microcebus, the smallest primate in the world. 129 species of birds nest in the forest of which 75 of them are endemics. Finally, Ankarafansika is also home of  local endemics reptiles: chameleons, iguanas, snakes and freshwater turtles. Overnight in bungalow or Blue Vanga in BB.

DAY 5: ANKARAFANTSIKA

We have full day visit at the park. Ankarafantsika is an important place for wildlife tour where we aim to search for other species of birds, including the unicoloured Mesite, the Van Dam Vanga, the Madagascar Sea Eagle, the Schlegel Philépitte, the Madagascar Gymnogene, and many others. Besides, lemurs including the Coquerel’s Sifaka abound in the forest. Overnight in bungalow or Blue Vanga in BB.

DAY 6: ANKARAFANTSIKA-AMBANJA

We depart early morning going to Ambanja taking approximately 9 hours drive. The landscape varies along the way while expecting some stops en route arranged by your guide. Spend a night in Palma Nova (Midrange) in BB.

DAY 7: AMBANJA-ANKARANA

Just after breakfast, leave Ambanja going to Ankarana Reserve, famous for its wonderful view of Tsingy ‘limestone pinnacles’. The park of Ankarana spreads over 18,225 ha. Ankarana is the western extension of a chalky massif of the medium Jurassic that emerges from a basaltic plain located above 50m over the sea level. The plateau, that is a greatly eroded karsts formation in surface, is constituted by a lapiaz of Tsingy.Arrive in Ankarana before around noon, after lunch visit at the park for half day. Overnight at the hotel Iharana Bush Camp or in Ankarana lodge (top) or in Relais d’Ankarana (midrange).

DAY 8: ANKARANA-DIEGO

Morning visit in the park till noon, Ankarana is home to many species of lemurs such as the crowned lemurs, Sanford’s brown lemurs and different species of birds. Also, it is mostly known for its limestone pinnacles or the Tsingy. The biological inventories of Ankarana species, with 40 reptiles and 10 amphibians, also reported 96 species of birds, 50 species of mollusks and a huge number of snails of the tsingy. 14 species of bats, either the half of the bats of Madagascar lives in the underground cave of Ankarana. After the visit, drive to Diego. Overnight at Grand Hotel (top) or Allamanda or at Hotel Jardin Exotique (midrange) or Moramora in BB.

DAY 9: DIEGO-AMBER MOUNTAIN-DIEGO

Departure in 4×4 vehicles to the Amber Mountain’s Reserve located 45 miles from Diego Suarez. Mountain and Forest of Amber is a complex of protected areas that covers 23 010 ha, of which 18 200 ha for the National Park and 4,810 ha for the Special Reserve Forest of Amber. It is a volcanic massif covered with forest spread over 850 to 1 475 m altitude. Six lakes and several rivers crisscross the park. Mountain and Forest of Amber is a high place with 77 endemic species of birds, 7 species of lemurs and 24 species of amphibians. After the visit, we return to Diego. Overnight at Grand Hotel (top) or Allamanda or at Hotel Jardin Exotique (midrange) or Moramora in BB.

DAY 10: DIEGO-ANKIFY-NOSY BE

Drive from Diego to Ankify and take the speed boat to Nosy be; then transfer to your hotel.
Relax on the beach; Nosy Be is the apotheosis of tourism in Madagascar. The charm offered its beaches, vegetation, population and its sun, sea-bottom came together to found his fame. It is found that the term “Earthly Paradise” is best suited to describe this island of rare beauty. The temperature of this island is very pleasant and the sky is always bright to allow the full benefit of the sea. Enjoy the fascinating spectacle offered by a sunset and melodious rustle of the ocean. Overnight at hotel Palm Beach or in Belvedere (High-midrange) in BB.

DAY 11: NOSY BE-NOSY TANIKELY-NOSY BE

Take a boat and depart to Nosy Komba which is only a dozen kilometers from Nosy Be ,accessible by boat. In Nosy Komba, tourists are likely to enjoy close contact with the domesticated black and brown lemurs that gently jump onto your shoulders expecting to eat bananas. Continue by boat to Nosy Tanikely constitutes an underwater reserve which offers a very suitable diving site. With just a mask and a tuba, one can start appreciating the parade of the thousands species of fish starting from only some meter from the beach and see grouper, moonfish, swordfish, barracuda, parrots, lines, clown fishes, moray, turtles…These species grind around splendid corals, like a patrol. The marine reserve of Nosy Tanikely presents a broad sandy beach for snorkeling activities that most people love the clear water you can see an amazing variety of marine life, starfish, anemones, very colored shape of fish, and lobsters. Have a lunch under the green shade of the trees in front of the clear water and white sand. After lunch swim and relax, then return to Nosy Be at around 3:30 pm.Overnight at hotel Palm Beach or in Belvedere (high-midrange) in BB.

DAY 12: RELAX  IN NOSY BE

This day you will have another day set at leisure. Overnight at the hotel Palm Beach,(top) in BB or at the hotel Belvedere (midrange) in BB.

DAY 13: NOSY BE-TANA

You will be transferred to the airport for flight back to Tana, while arriving at Ivato international airport check in and fly back home.
